Dressmaking Stitchclub for children and teens

Start by constructing a skirt pattern tailored to your own measurements and make up a calico skirt to test your pattern. Then you will learn how to make the skirt up in your own fabric. You will learn about measuring and fitting a pattern to your shape, fabric, fabric direction and how to make your skirt a success. As you build up your knowledge and experience you will learn how to create a range of garments.

Suitable for children and teens with some sewing knowledge – including how to use the sewing machine. There is a minimum of 4 per class.

All materials and equipment included EXCEPT most people prefer to select their own fabric to make their finished skirt. This will be discussed in the first few sessions.

The tutor is Christina Verden of The Nordic Make Lounge

Time: Tuesdays 5-6:30
Cost: £15 per session, payable in advance for the term or half term (dates vary depending on holidays).
