Monday 19th, Tuesday 20th, Tuesday 27th and Wednesday 28th August 2019
A day to stitch whatever you fancy: a simple skirt, crazy critters, a bag, cushion, an apron, fabric jewels or perhaps you have another idea? This workshop is suitable for all children (aged 8+) and teens – beginners and super stitchers alike.
You do not need to bring any materials with you – if you have ideas or materials you really want to work with then do bring them along, but we have plenty of inspiration, fabrics and bits and bobs in the Stitch Studio. If you have a particular idea it would be great to let Sam know before hand so that she can make sure she has what you need before the workshop.
On the Monday sessions we will (if the weather is good enough to work outside) have the opportunity to dye fabric.
Where: The Stitch Studio, 46 Love Lane, Pinner, HA5 3EX
Who: boys and girls 8+ years
What to bring: Packed lunch, drinks (water will be available) and snacks. Note that some workshops might be messy (especially if we are dyeing) so wear old clothes and/or bring an apron.
Cost: £46 per day, two workshops can be booked for £87*
Unless otherwise stated, we supply everything – fabrics, haberdashery (ribbons, buttons and other bits and bobs), patterns, skill instructions and tuition as well as all equipment, including sewing machines. Places are limited to 10 children, so please book ahead to reserve a place.
*This is intended to refer to two different days, but can be applied to siblings.
