Starting with simple hand sewing and basic fabric manipulation and then introducing and developing sewing machine and design techniques children (8+) and teens are soon designing and creating their own items. Individual creativity and flexibility are as important as technique ensuring that confidence and skills develop while making fun and beautiful things.
We supply everything – fabrics, haberdashery (ribbons, buttons and other bits and bobs), patterns, skill instructions and tuition. The only time you may need to make an additional purchase is if you require a specific fabric or notion when creating a particular project, typically when dressmaking.
The classes are small and held in our purpose-built Stitch Studio in Pinner North-West London – a cosy making cave full of inspiration.
If you are interested in joining a stitchclub email Sam — firstname.lastname@example.org. If you are interested in starting a group for home educated children, please also get in touch. At this stage we run 2/3 sessions a week, but have capacity for more.
