We have run many workshops for community groups, local schools, borough councils and galleries including the Discovery Children’s Centre in Stratford and The Dulwich Picture Gallery.
These workshops use our expertise in working with children in a creative and engaging fashion and our knowledge of drawing, painting and constructing with mixed media. Each one is tailored to the requirements of the event and the skill level of the participants. See below for images of some of this work.
Tove Jansson inspired Workshop at Dulwich Picture Gallery, 28 October 2017
Lovely workshop for the Saturday evening late gallery opening for children at the Dulwich Picture Gallery. Amongst amazing old masters felt an unlikely setting to make colourful fun felt critters, but it was great fun. This is just a selection of the creations made by children and their families. We started with a selection of templates inspired by Tove Jansson’s Moomin characters and a selection of felt and bits and bobs to personalise them.
Doctor Seuss inspired workshop for the Discovery Children’s Centre, Stratford
So many different beautiful creations from my workshops at the lovely Discover Children’s Story Centre in Stratford (upon Jubilee not Avon). Starting with 4 templates and some bits and bobs… The children and carers were full of creativity and energy, hope they didn’t make too much mess when they got home with all the ideas they were full of!
West Lodge Diamond Jubilee Mural
Each child, most of the staff and our favourite ‘original pupil’ Michael (Trev the Tramp) Rosen decorated a diamond for the mural which is displayed in the dining hall.
